Open →Film it here
Storyboard it, stage it in One Take, shoot it in the Workbench, cut it in the Silver Screen. The scene as written, your hero in it, in whatever style you want.
Open →Post it with #quantumdrift
YouTube, TikTok, X or Instagram. Then enter it on the board — the link rides along. People tune in to the storyline.
Open →Thursday, live
The week’s entries are reviewed on the Thursdays stream. Directors give each other notes.
Open →Month two: your short film
Cut your scenes together in the Silver Screen. You have a short film with your name on it.

Questions
- What is the Directors Challenge?
- A guided storyline in the Quantum Drift universe, one fixed scene a week. You make a hero and film the week’s scene with AI tools on AktionFilm AI, then post it on YouTube or social with #quantumdrift and on the community feed. Entries are voted on by the community, reviewed live on Thursdays, and the best go to the annual Ahnuld Stallone awards.
- How much does it cost to enter?
- The daily challenges are free to enter; renders cost credits like anything else on the site. The Best Action Hero, the paid competition, is 50 credits an entry, as many entries as you like.
- How does voting work?
- Enter a challenge once and you get 3 votes a day in it for the next 30 days. One vote may go to your own entry; the others go to other people's work. The day's winner gets 250 credits. Each week's top entry goes to the monthly final, where the community picks the winner, one vote each, for 2,000 credits.
- Does the image have to be made on AktionFilm?
- Yes. Every entry is one of your own renders, clips or comics made on the site. Uploads from elsewhere do not enter. Coordinated voting is an instant ban.
- What is the Ahnuld Stallone?
- The first annual AktionFilm awards, live-streamed on January 22, 2027: Best Image, Best Directed Short, Best Action Hero, One more award. The monthly winners are the nominees; the paid Best Action Hero competition has its own door.
- Does my scene have to look like the comic?
- No. The scenes are told as comics on YouTube so they are easy to follow. Directors use whatever style they want: live action, animation, comic panels, anything your hero looks best in.
- Can I enter a comic instead of a film?
- Yes. The comic challenge runs on the same rules: the week’s scene drawn as a comic in the comic creator, entered from the feed, voted daily, reviewed on Thursdays.
- Do I have to play the game?
- No. The missions game on Studio Action is in development and optional. The Directors Challenge is the weekly scene; the storyline does not wait on the game.
